Dinglewood Vineyard was established in 2019 by three generations of the same family in Stanton North Shropshire. As a former farming family we were looking to diversify using the skills gained from over 60yrs of growing crops and build a future for the younger and future generations of the family.
The family work collectively whilst maintaining full time jobs or being retired.
Initially the two brothers had the idea that they might like to try something different, looking to stop their dad getting bored, prevent him from getting too many jobs from their mum and thought along the way they might , along with their wives and children be able to spend time together and learn from a green fingered expert.
No one in the family had any experience of growing grapes or had any particular knowledge. Following a steep learning curve, we think we have produced some lovely wines and are now looking to grow and expand, enjoying a glass or two along the way
